Workshop:
La Grange Art League is pleased to present a three-day landscape plein air painting workshop August 14,15, and 16, 2008 with award winning artist Jacqueline France. Jacque teaches at Dupage Art League, Lyons Township Adult Education and La Grange Art League.
Jacque holds a BFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, where she majored in painting. Landscape plein air and studio painting are Jacque’s specialty. She and her husband Gordon paint and attend painting workshops throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.
Attendees should be intermediate to advanced painters. Emphasis will be on creating atmospheric perspective through the use of color, value and composition. One-on-one instruction will be provided as needed or requested. At least three different locations will be designated and daily demos and critiques of students paintings will be conducted by the instructor.
